Children's Community
Chest Fund
When you donate to The Children’s Community Chest 100% of your donation goes directly to the families. This program offers discretionary funds to families with an urgent need when there are no other community resources in Nevada and Sierra Counties available.
Awarded funds can range from $50.00 to $500.00 and we strive for same day turnaround, if possible. A need may relate to health, transportation, enrichment, or items that directly benefit the physical or emotional needs of the child. In addition, the Fund may support a child’s participation in an activity such as sports or dance that builds character and self-esteem.

SNCS welcomes the opportunity to work with good people who want to contribute their free time and skills to good causes.
Local experts/professionals may make an “in-kind” donation to the
organization in the form of a service.
