SIERRA NEVADA CHILDREN'S SERVICES Truckee
branch has been in operation for 23 years. The staff and services
have grown (quadrupling!) along with the population of Truckee.
We are located in a one-stop-shop for human services with
a variety of County, State and non-profit organizations. We
are partners in KIDZONE, a brand new facility, housing a Family
Resource Center, Children's Museum and an Indoor Play Structure.

ABOUT TRUCKEE
Truckee is located at 6,000 ft. elevation in the beautiful
Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California. Surrounded
by beautiful Alpine Lakes, including Lake Tahoe, Truckee is
an outdoor recreation wonderland. There are world-class ski
hills, bike trails, back-country hiking trails, and an amazing
number of sunny days all year long. Truckee is rich in historical
sites including "beautiful downtown Truckee." A
river runs through it as well as a railroad. Truckee is also
home to a very large per capita number of young children.
