Marilyn Brandfass

Marilyn joins the staff having come from working almost 10 years with Hospice of the Foothills in a variety of positions, and more than 25 years as a manager at Pacific Bell.   With an education in Organizational Behavior from The University of San Francisco and years of practical experience, Marilyn brings a wealth of knowledge to her position.  Marilyn feels strongly that the role of the Human Resource Manager is to be an active participant in the success of an agency, to represent employees and the agency equally with regard to risk management and resource issues, and to act as a conduit for agency and employee concerns.  With a passion for art, Marilyn is pursuing certification in expressive art therapy at JFK University, with the intent of working with the bereaved, children, veterans and others suffering from PTSD.  When not at work, Marilyn volunteers for Hospice of the Foothills and in Uganda for Aidchild, which provides a home, medical treatment, love and education for orphans living with AIDS in Uganda.
