David Jones
(October 2011 to September 2012) – First Term

David Jones joined the Sierra Nevada Children's Services Board of Directors in October, 2011 and currently serves as the Board Treasurer. He has a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and worked in the Finance Department of several Grass Valley Manufacturing and Engineering Companies before retiring in 2010.  He has participated in several nonprofit organizations specializing in helping young people and children achieve their goals and develop their skills. He is a long time member of the Kiwanis of the Gold Country in Grass Valley.  He is also an avid swimmer and has participated in many open water swim competitions in the Northern California area.
